Nestled in the heart of Marloth Park, right on the edge of the world-famous Kruger National Park, Ons Blyplek is a unique bush retreat made for nature lovers. Separated from Kruger by the Crocodile River, this peaceful hideaway offers unforgettable views and up-close wildlife encounters — all from the comfort of a private, tranquil setting.
Zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, kudus, monkeys, and bokkies roam freely through the area, often wandering right past your garden.
Ons Blyplek boasts a lush garden, a shaded stoep with braai facilities, private parking, and a sparkling swimming pool — perfect for relaxing after a day of bushveld adventure.
Our Love
For Africa
We are Allard and Aline. In 2001, we lost our hearts to Africa. Its raw beauty, warm-hearted people, and endless horizons captivated us and never let go. That love turned out to be deeply rooted — so deep, in fact, that in 2020, we decided to sell our home in the middle of the Netherlands and travel through Southern Africa for at least a year with our family and little dog.
Our goal? To find a place we’d truly want to call home.
We spent seven weeks exploring Namibia and another three and a half weeks traveling through South Africa. But in March 2020, the world shut down — including Africa. We were forced to return to the Netherlands and eventually settled in the beautiful town of Eibergen.
But Africa never left our hearts.
In January 2024, our dream came true: we bought our dream home in Marloth Park, South Africa. A place where nature surprises you every day, where zebras and giraffes roam freely, and where Kruger National Park is quite literally our backyard.
